    On January 15, 2009 Great Schools Inc
     in conjunction with Business Week
    Magazine recognized Benji's Academy
    Charter School as the MOST  
    IMPROVED SCHOOL in the State of
    Texas.  It is a big accomplishment
    for Benji's Academy to be recognized
    in the America's Best Schools survey
    and it's a true testament that hard work
     does pay off.  So congratulations to the
    students, administration, staff and
    teachers of Benji's Academy for their
    commitment, dedication and
    perseverance.  It truly is a belief rather
    than a motto when we say
    "If a child cannot learn the way we
    teach, we will teach the way he / she
    learns".

It is the philosophy of Benji’s Special Educational Academy Charter School (BSEACS) to provide
a comprehensive program of studies and activities to aid each student  in the maturity of social,
physical, and emotional excellence.  BSEACS curriculum allow students individual interests and
needs to be nurtured. To reach our goals, students at BSEACS are encouraged to do research,
develop in-depth knowledge, and apply that knowledge while working in collaborative groups. It
is our belief that each student should be prepared to meet the challenges of the world after their
journey here.

To Benji's Academy For Being Recognized As
The Most Improve School In the State of Texas!!!
On February 10, 2009, Theaola Robinson and Benji's Academy Charter
School was recognized during the public session of Houston City
Council for it's outstanding contributions to the at-risk children of the Fifth
Ward Community.  
Mrs. Theaola Robinson was saluted and commended on meeting the
continued needs of the total child who has been raised in the shadows of
inner city poverty, disadvantaged families and crime.  Therefore the
Mayor of the City of Houston Bill White proclaimed February 10, 2009 as
